So! I moved! Again! Yaay!

I live in a place called Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast in BC. It's very Sunshiney here.

It's supa cool, as my place is pretty much across the street from the ocean. We have two balconies overlooking the water. My only problem is the many rats with wings that shit all over my deck and wake me up in the morning with their incessant squawking >[

I really like it here, and I'm looking forward to school. I can't wait to meet some people and the highschool here has awesome courses. I'm going to take German 8D Also, one of my insane art camp friends is moving here to live with her aunt and uncle and will be going to my school! I'm so excited for that.

I'm currently working on my resume so that I can get a job and make some moolah (or friends).

So yeah, I'm looking forward to starting completely over. Again.

So, I'll be out shooting today, I think. Expect some photos!

What I love about life:
Listening to music so loud the the bass line feels like your heart beat. The smell of fresh cut grass. Staying out late in the summer because it's still warm out and stargazing until two in the morning. Campfires. How your clothes smell like campfire until you wash them. Getting to know a total stranger enough to miss them after a week. Honourary sisters. Smelling the rain before it comes. Seeing someone you haven't seen in an incredibly long time but it feels like no time has passed at all. Attending religious functions even though you're not religious. The Little Blue Man. Raku smoke. Watching rain drops on windowpanes. Starbucks and jellybeans. Cement ogopogos. Plaid on plaid. Loving someone so much it hurts. Laughing until you can't breathe. Autumn leaves. Inspiration. Painting. Taking off your flip-flops and walking in bare feet. Inventing new words. Being a shoulder to cry on. Never knowing what you'll be doing on a day-to-day basis. Conversations that go on for hours and hours. Being excited for the future. Getting post cards. Having something that smells like someone you love. Random acts of kindness. That feeling you get when you just finish a book you really love. Being original. Embracing cliches. Being cheesy or hokey but being sincere about every word. Hanging out with someone and actually realizing for the first time actually how much you appreciate them even though you've hung with them a billion times before. Deja vus. Smelling a smell you like but not being able to place what it smells like. Fresh baked bread. Being weak in the knees when you see someone. Realizing how many amazing friends you have and feeling lucky that you have them. Breaking free from monotony. Feeling like you're finally home. Living life to the fullest. Reminiscing. Laying in dry grass. Having a place that is special to you. Having something you share with only one person. having healthy debates. Discussing beliefs. Honorary moms. Poptarts. making a perfect stranger smile. Contemplating anything. Cuddles. Hugging someone so hard that it's hard to breathe but you cant let go. Accomplishing something. Putting so much effort into something so that you feel like you can't go on, but you do anyway. Not giving up. Doing something for yourself and yourself only. Giving gifts just because you feel like it. Watching sunrises. Watching sunsets.

I found a USB cord that will fit my camera amongst the stuff in my house.

SO! That means I will be able to bless your eyes with beautiful photos...-cough-

Also, it has art camp photos on it. I'll put them in an album on facebook and link you guys up, so that you can see the retardedness that can only happen when a whole bunch or arties come to one place.

Right now it's just a whole bunch of people you don't (or do, in some cases) know. I have like...200 more pictures to pick through and put up, so that is definitely not the last!

D: I just realized that my sub runs out in less than a month! Sad! It'll be so weird without it, and I'm too broke to buy a new one. Oh well! 8D I went for years without one and I can continue that!

Last week has been horrible for me and losing/forgetting stuff places.

And lucky me, in all the excitement of arriving at Art Camp, I forgot my camera bag on the bus. I had my camera on me, luckily. HOWEVER. My USB cord was in my camera bag. Soo, I suppose I have to buy a new one?

In the mean time, I have my memory card, and in my pc's tower, there is a memory card slot. It even has a little symbol next to it that is the same symbol that is on my memory card. When I put my memcard in the tower, a little light goes on. Yay green lights! Nothing comes up. I seriously waited for a half hour for a little thingy to pop up on my screen and say 'click here to remove your photos from your memory card!' But nothing! Gasp! So, I went and checked My Computer, and I can't find anything.


HOW DO I GET MY PICTURESS!?!

Seriously. It's so frustrating that I can't figure it out. Stabba stabba!

Hey guys. I forgot to say that I was taking off to art camp.

Well, I'm back. Unfortunately D: This year was so amazing. I can't believe it's over. It was also my last year as a camper, which is upsetting beyond belief. I'm going to try to come back and be a counselor! I just can't let that be my last year ever that I participate in Artists For Kids. I can't. It's been such a huge part of my life. I start counting down the days in January. The people there are just amazing, and they inspire me so much. I don't know what I'll do if I can't ever go back. No idea.

Leaving yesterday was very emotional. There were many tears and some of the best hugs I've ever experienced. Also, the Thursday night campfire was super emotional, too. After campfire, the seniors art campies stay after and watch a midnight Raku firing, which is super cool. Also, we roasted marshmallows and sang more songs, and went stargazing. Shamus, one of my favourite regulars at art camp taught us how to walk on the stars, and we had super-philosophical conversations. Before we all went off to our different cabins, we had a really nice group hug. I could hear Shamus's heart beat <3

Ughh. I'm so not happy about being home, especially because I have to work my ass off at my english course, and my grandmother is cracking the whip. I don't actually think she understands how upset I am, even though I often start crying. I know it sounds SO lame, but you have to experience it to know, I guess. I had to sleep with my sweater last night because it smells like camp. I'm wearing it now, even. I don't want to wash it, but I know I have to eventually.
